Makin' It Happen Productions Inc.

Makin' It happen Productions was founded by former Houston Police Officer, Mac A. Moore in 2005. The company's focus has been Entertainment booking, Promotions, and Event Planning. Since starting the company, Makin' It Happen has produced several concerts featuring, Gerald LeVert (Unfinished Business Tour), Millie Jackson, Howard Hewitt, and Adina Howard.

Makin' It Happen also produced the comedy showcase, Hollywood in Houston, featuring LaVell Crawford, Jay Anthony Brown, and Damien Williams. They also produced the Latin Kings of Comedy Showcase in August 2006.

Currently in production and slated for December 16, 2006 at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas, TX is the Christmas Cool Jazz Concert with special guest - Kirk Whalum, Jonathan Butler, Michael Franks, and David Benoit.

Makin' It Happen continues to expand its business and creative ventures with the first theatrical production, Sinners N The Living Room, premiering late March 2007 at the Verizon Wireless Theatre.

About the founder Mac A. Moore

Mac A. Moore was born in Houston, Texas on June 25, 1960 to the parents of Robert J. and Hattie Lee Moore. Mac was the fourth child of five children. Mac was educated in the North Forest School System, and graduated in the top 10 percent of his graduating class of 1978 with a 3.5 grade point average.

Mac was a 2 sport athlete, excelling in baseball, and basketball. Upon graduating he was accepted to attend Texas State Technical Institute, in Waco, Texas. He majored in business management. After a year at Texas State Technical Institute, Mac transferred to The University of Houston and continued his major in Business Management. While still attending the University of Houston in 1979, Mac began to work for N. L. Industries as a machine operator. He remained with the company until 1989.

Mac married his high school sweetheart, Cindy Joseph on June 12, 1982, and through this union they gave birth to their only child, a son, Kirk Anthony Moore. Mac and Cindy have been married for 24 years, and are still very happily married.

In February 1984, Mac was accepted into the Houston Police Academy, Class of 119. Mac graduated from the police academy in June 1984.Mac received several letters of accommodation throughout his career at the Houston Police Department. While still working at HPD, Mac began to do security for several professional celebrities and entertainers in the music industry.

Mac had a love for the music industry, and in the year 2005, while still employed with Houston Police Department, Mac decided to become a business owner. Mac founded “My Time Entertainment “, an entertainment booking, promotions and event planning service for professional clients.

While attending and event in Houston, Mac ran into long-time friend Robert “Wyatta” Wyatt, and the two began to discuss a joint venture in the entertainment industry. Mac while based in Houston and Robert in Los Angeles formed and incorporated, “Makin’ It Happen Production" in January 2006. With success in the entertainment industry Mac decided to retire from the Houston

Police Department in June 17, 2006 (after 22 years of service). He wanted to give his full attention to his new career in the entertainment industry.

Mac is the Chief Executive Officer of “Makin It Happen Productions”, whose goal is creating spectacular entertainment experiences and educational awareness in the entertainment industry.

From these goals, Mac and Robert founded, “WYMAC Charities of Houston", a non profit organization to give back to the charities of the city of Houston and surrounding communities.

About the founder Robert Keith Wyatt

Robert Keith Wyatt was born in Crockett, Texas on October 27, 1962. He excelled in high school at journalism and was awarded the Quill and Scroll National Journalism Award for being the feature editor for the Bulldog Barks Newspaper. He enrolled at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Robert was enrolled in college full time and employed at the Eastham unit at T.D.C.

Returning to Houston in 1992, he became a store director for several Rent-To-Own Furniture store chains. Robert also got hooked on stand up comedy. His cousin Carlton Johnson was one of the top national touring comedians in the country. After seeing his cousin’s act he was hooked. Robert started going by the stage name Wyatta , a version of his last name. Wyatta developed his skills at two local Houston comedy clubs, the Comedy Showcase and the Hip Hop Comedy Stop. In 1998 Wyatta was headlining comedy clubs all over the south. His cousin Carlton Johnson was in Los Angeles and was the head-writer for the Keynan Ivory Wayans Show. He called Wyatta and suggested he move to Los Angeles.

In September 1998, Wyatta moved to Los Angeles. His focused changed when Carlton introduced him to his commercial Agents at the World Famous Sutton, Barth and Vennari Talent Agency. Wyatta was signed and since 1998 has been the featured actor in over thirty national television commercials, Including Superbowl commercials for 7-Up and Canon. He has co-stared with Madonna, Iggy, Orlando Jones, Mia, Little Richard and Nick Cannon to name a few. World famous British director Tony Kaye trained him in creative thinking. Tony Kaye directed the movie “American History X” in which Edward Norton received an Oscar nomination. As a friend of Tony Kaye, Wyatta was able to study acting from the Late Marlon Brando. Tony Kaye filmed an acting classes called “Lying for a Living” which was taught by Marlon Brando for a two week period, eight to ten hours a day at the Lilian Way Theater in Los Angeles. John Voight, Sean Penn Leonardo De Caprio, Robin Williams, Harry Dean Staton, Nick Nolte, Whoopie Goldberg and John Almos attended the classes. They helped Marlon conduct the class and participated in improve and cold readings.

In 2002, Wyatta added another line to his resume. Wyatta was hired as the Talent Producer and Segment Producer for Steve Harvey’s Big Time on the Warner Brothers Network. After Big Time, Wyatta worked at NU-OPP Productions, which is owned, by Steve Harvey and Rushion McDonald on developing his own sitcom. Wyatta along with his business partner, Walter Gordon, created and developed the Adventures of Roscoe. Wyatta directed five pilot episodes filmed on location in Los Angeles. In 2006, Wyatta teamed with long time friend Mac Moore in Houston, Texas to form Makin’ It Happen Production Inc. They promote major concerts and comedy shows in the Houston area. Wyatta serves as COO-CFO for the company. Wyatta operates the west coast office in Inglewood, California. Mac and Wyatta also formed WYMAC Charities Foundation a 501(c) in Houston, Texas. Wyatta has been an active member of the Screen Actors Guild since 1998 and is also a member of the Scottish Rite A.F. & A.M. Wyatta also is active in the screen actors Guild in Reading and mentoring to inner city children in the Los Angeles area.
